Today I painted my toe nails and my fingers nails for the first time in over 5 years! Although this may seem like a small insignificant act, it has revealed a little life lesson. I've been living for 5 years with no color on the tips of my fingers and toes. I've been going through life with a beautiful plate a cake and ice cream, with no sprinkles. But thankful to my wonderful 3 year old, she invited me to live a little on the wild side, and paint my toes. Childhood is such a short but significant part of our life. We establish some of our most significant memories, friends and fears. Our inner child reflects those memories into our adult psyche. Untapped childhood dreams, fears, happiness, playfulness and creativity are basically sprinkles in your life as an adult. My 2017 goals were very linear; focus, power, choice and breath. A calm vision to overcome, conquer and thrive is what i strived for. As we inch closer to 2018 I will continue to sharpen the things of 2017 but throw some sprinkles on it! More sprinkles of laughter, creativity, playfulness and Fun! It's been too long since I've painted my nails, or danced or tried something for the first tine. Life is too short not to have fun so in 2018, whether it be work, love or everyday living, I'll be throwing sprinkles on it! "My cake stands strong, but without the sprinkles it's just wrong"
